Lang Lang Visits Yerevan for the First Time

Pianist Lang Lang recently arrived in Yerevan, marking his first visit to Armenia.

Lang Lang traveled to Yerevan together with his mother. He said that he was delighted to visit the city and looked forward to the upcoming performance.

During this visit, Lang Lang will perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra under the baton of its Artistic Director and conductor Sergey Smbatyan.

At the same time, global preliminaries for the 2026 Khachaturian International Youth Competition have begun in major regions. In the final stage, Sergey Smbatyan will lead the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra in accompanying the competition, offering young musicians from around the world an important pathway to the international stage.
